A few Bible verses i mentioned that i would pass on...
God's Part in Work
1.God gives job skills
Exodus 36:1 Every skillfull person in whom the Lord has put skill and understanding to know how to perform all the work...shall perform.
2. God gives success.
The life of Joseph is a perfect example of God helping a person to succeed. "The Lord was with Joseph, so he became a successful man..His master saw that the Lord was with him and how the Lord caused all that he did to prosper: Genesis 39:2-3
3. God controls promotion
Psalm 75:6-7 For promotion and power come from nowhere on earth, but only from God
Our part in Work
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might. Ecclesiastes (9:10
The precious possession of a man is diligence. (hard work) He who is slack in his work is brother to him who destroys Proverbs 18:9
But do not overwork!
Exodus 34:21 You shall work six days, but on the seventh day you shall rest; even during plowing time and harvest you shall rest. (Rest can become an issue of faith. Is God able to make our six days of work more productive than seven? Yes! The Lord instituted weekly rest for our physical, mental and spiritual health.
Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men...it is the Lord Christ whom you serve. Colossians 3:23-24

Hey Shelia,
I gave this list to a co worker(she's a Christian)who is having some big time troubles with the new teacher she is working with. She was very grateful to receive it as it helped turn her day around yesterday.
