Dear Babes,  We may have to stop calling ourselves babes after this last book study and start calling ourselves Grown-up Jesus Girls.  My other Bible Study group is studying Hebrews and it tells in Hebrews 5:12-14 that we should no longer feed on only milk but should be partakers of solid food. For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he(or she, as in our case) is a babe.  But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.  I understand this teaching and agree with it but I still like being called a "babe" because then I think of the verse Deut. 33:27a: "The eternal God is our refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms"  and I picture being cradled in God's everlasting, sure, warm, peaceful arms as a little child.  I am so glad that we have our eternal Father holding us every step of our way.  And as Angela taught this week we just need to trust and entrust and stand on our firm foundation.  I loved the study this week, each week has just gotten better and better.  I am so sad that I will miss being with you babes this week.  I will be in Charlottesville, helping Kelly with the kids while Nancy is away at a family wedding.  Please pray for me for though I love being with the grandkids I need all the energy and patience I can get.  Sending love to you all and missing you already, Judy
